Privacy architecture
Location is a sensitive signal. Mini Guard treats it that way. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, only approved guardians can decrypt it, and we retain the minimum required for the service.

What happens when SOS is pressed
The SOS button is pressed by holding it for 2 seconds. This avoids accidental triggers but stays simple enough for a small child to remember.
- 1Wristband vibrates to confirm the alert was sent
- 2All approved guardians receive a priority push with live location
- 3If no guardian responds in 60 seconds, the wristband starts ringing them in order
- 4If no answer at all, an optional emergency-services hand-off can be enabled
- 5A live audio channel can open from the wristband if the parent accepts the call
- 6The alert is logged in the family timeline for later review
